Citadines Islington London

The Hotel location was perfect for my professionals meeting at the Business Design Center. The aera is very nice, close to restaurant and shops. The staff is welcoming, the hotel is very clean and my room was big, and with a wide window on the garden. The bed was very confortable and I didn't hear any sounds during the night.

The space, light, air circulation, layout and cleanliness of the room were all excellent. I appreciated being in such a central part of London in a place where I could keep the window open at night and not be disturbed by noice. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning and find myself across the street from an excellent patisserie (Paul's), close to multiple other restaurants and food vendors, close to King's Cross and Angel Station...really, I could not have asked for more. It was also nice not having to stress about having housekeeping come in every day. It really felt like "my own place" for the three-day stay. The staff was receptive when I mentioned that the drain in the shower was slow, and it was repaired the very next day.

The hotel is beautiful and in a top location on Angel upper street within few minutes walking to bar/restaurants/bus stations/shops/ tube but still located in a very quiet street with no traffic/noise. Property is clean, with good size studios and nice breakfast. We stayed here with various family members for some wedding celebrations and the personnel was absolutely great. They went above & beyond to accommodate our requests and were always available. We had a wonderful time and we will be back for sure!

The location is great being in the middle of Angel and Islington. The hotel has a lounge with free tea and coffee which was a nice space to work in and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Having kitchen facilities (microwave, hob, toaster, kettle) is such a bonus if you have a longer stay however, switching the instant coffee sachets and UHT milk for a coffee machine would feel much more in keeping with the style and price of the hotel.

Breakfast 10/10 the selection was amazing and the seating area was really relaxing. The decor throughout the hotel matched and gave a really upmarket feel. The staff were lovely- I came the day before as I was getting married and they were very helpful to the photographer and makeup artist. Miriam was especially lovely and welcoming with a smile and it was greatly appreciated that she upgraded me. Rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean especially the fridge which can often be missed! Also the best 2 nights sleep I've had in ages and my 7 month old was with me. The location is also good as there's so much nearby
